Witchmark distillery opens for tours
Go behind the scenes at Witchmark’s new visitor centre and learn how whisky is made.
Witchmark’s distillery is located on the beautiful Fonthill Estate in a Grade II listed barn. Tucked away in the stunning Wiltshire countryside, it’s the perfect place for the team to create their whisky which uses barley and water from just a stone’s throw away.
On the tour, you’ll be able to see how Witchmark create the neutral grain spirit that forms the foundation of their gins and vodkas, as well as learn more about their whisky-making process. The tour also includes a Q&A that explores the distillery’s expert practices and the rich history behind the witch marks found on many of the barns on the estate.
Most importantly, you’ll be able to get a taste of their new gins and vodkas during a guided tasting! The current range includes Black Lime gin, London Dry gin, vodka and a Wiltshire single origin gin with a rich, floral variety of botanicals. Driving? Don’t worry – you’ll get a sample pack to take home and enjoy.
All tours are currently £15 (a £10 discount) until 31 January 2025 – a fantastic Christmas gift or wintry outing.
