Wine Monkey launches artisan deli and bistro

Food lovers in Chippenham are in for a treat as The Kitchen by Wine Monkey, an artisan deli and French-inspired bistro, will open its doors very soon!

This exciting new venture blends the sophistication of a gourmet deli with the casualness of a classic French bistro, alongside expertly curated wines, to create a unique dining experience in Chippenham where artisanship meets playful elegance.

The Kitchen by Wine Monkey is the latest project from the Wine Monkey team, known for their passion for exceptional wines and gourmet experiences. The new bistro and deli will feature a carefully crafted menu that showcases seasonal and locally sourced ingredients, alongside an array of artisan cheeses, charcuterie, specialty pantry items, and, of course, exceptional sustainable wines.

“After 2 successful years of The Cellar [by Wine Monkey], we wanted to create a new space where people can enjoy high-quality, beautifully prepared food in a relaxed yet refined setting,” said Bryan Houde, founder. “Whether you’re stopping by for a coffee and croissant, indulging in a charcuterie or cheese board with a perfectly paired glass of wine, picking up some gourmet ingredients for home, or now enjoying an exquisite weekday lunch or weekend brunch created by our talented chef and co-owner Lisa Gale, we aim to offer something truly special to the community.”

Located in the Borough Parade shopping centre, just off the high street, The Kitchen by Wine Monkey will offer during the week an artisan deli menu of homemade sandwiches, salads, soups, and classic deli fare, as well as a rotating bistro menu of classic French-inspired dishes and, on the weekends, a lavish and creative brunch menu. Guests can expect everything from delicate pâtés and rustic tartines to slow-cooked cassoulet and indulgent desserts, all complemented by a handpicked selection of wines from the Wine Monkey collection.
