11 April 2025 Marque News

We’ve put together a special Wiltshire Marque trail for the Explore Wiltshire app, helping you to find great food and drink wherever you are.

To download the Explore Wiltshire app for your phone, choose from the versions below.

The Explore Wiltshire app offers the perfect way to discover the historic county of Wiltshire. This easy-to-use app guides you to Wiltshire's key landmarks, historic sites and cultural and arts venues, including the magnificent medieval city of Salisbury, our stunning Saxon and Georgian market towns, and picturesque villages.

From the Home Screen, you can find the city sights nearest to you and discover the stories behind them, or you can follow a themed trail (including our Wiltshire Marque trail!) to explore each city or town's unique heritage and uncover hidden histories. Each place has a special audio introduction from TV's Time Team Phil Harding, with his personal take on the county and its places he loves, as well as historic photos, audio and video content that let you see how Wiltshire has changed over time.

And of course, our Wiltshire Marque trail highlights all of our members that are open for visits, giving you more information about each one in a flash, including opening times and contact details. If you’re heading on out for a drive, or planning on making the most of the long weekend, see how many of our Marque makers you can tick off your list!

To access the Wiltshire Marque trail, simply download the town of your choice and tap the 'Trails' icon. The Wiltshire Marque trail is available for every town on the app.

Download the app that’s suitable for your phone today.
