Salisbury Charter Market

This twice-weekly market is held in Salisbury’s Market Place every Tuesday and Saturday.

The historical market has run since 1227 in Salisbury Market Place and comprises of approximately 70 stalls of various sizes. The market offers a wide range of goods including food (meat, fish, fruit and vegetables, cheese, bread, cakes, tea and coffee), clothes, shoes, bags, jewellery, watches, flowers and plants, music, tools, collectables, homeware, pet food and linen, amongst other offerings. 

You can tuck into a variety of street food while you browse. Be sure to check out the dedicated farmers’ market, too – just look out for the blue and white stalls.
