Heritage Fine Foods launch new 5adaybox website

5adaybox, the home delivery service from Heritage Fine Foods for fresh fruit, vegetables and other groceries, proudly marks its 20th anniversary with the unveiling of a brand-new website.
Established in 2005 by Ken and Kay Mortimer, 5adaybox began as a family-focused initiative to deliver fresh produce directly to homes. Over two decades, it has grown into a trusted name, known for sourcing locally whenever possible and supporting regional farmers and artisans when produce is in season.
The new website, launched in celebration of this milestone, offers a more user-friendly interface, making it easier than ever for customers to shop. Features include the ‘Swap & Shop’ function, allowing for flexible box contents, and improved navigation to explore a wide range of products – from seasonal fruit and veg to locally sourced meat, fish, and pantry staples.
“We’re thrilled to celebrate 20 years of delivering fresh produce to our community,” said Ken Mortimer, founder of 5adaybox. “Our new website reflects our dedication to providing exceptional service and supporting local suppliers, wherever possible.”
5adaybox’s commitment to quality and supporting local is evident in its strong relationships with local growers like Pagets in Bromham and partnerships with local butchers and artisan producers. As one of the founding members of the Wiltshire Marque, Heritage Fine Foods has long championed the importance of supporting local. This commitment continues today, with an ever-expanding range of Wiltshire and South West-based products being added to the site regularly, bringing even more local flavour to customers’ doorsteps.
Sustainability is also at the heart of 5adaybox. As finalists in the Fresh Awards for Sustainability Excellence, SALSA approved, and proud members of SEDEX, the company is committed to ethical sourcing, reducing food waste, and minimising environmental impact across its operations. Most recently Heritage Fine Foods was honoured with the South West Business & Community SME of the Year Award for 2025, a testament to its continued positive impact and responsible business practices.
As 5adaybox looks to the future, it remains dedicated to its core values: delivering fresh, locally sourced produce when in season, with exceptional customer service and a strong commitment to sustainability. The new website is a testament to this mission – offering customers an enhanced shopping experience while continuing to support local and tread lightly on the planet.
